August 2008: The MAGMA samples arrived in an unassuming brown box. First thoughts were "Surf wax eh? ...." "Organic eh?" "Nice Packaging...." "smells nice....." "but honestly, how different can a bar of surfwax really be?" Luckily for me there was a nice swell approaching and for those in the know a certain left hand point would be firing. So I called Fabian, loaded the boards and MAGMA #1 Cold Water Wax and headed up the west coast. Let the testing begin....
